The excellent Hitman Go launched on iOS and Android back in the Spring of 2014 and has received fantastic reviews since. After the board-game style mechanics spawned Apple iPhone Game of the Year 2015 Lara Croft Go a little over a year later, Square Enix is now ready to take Agent 47's mobile game to consoles and the desktop.
Announced alongside the trailer below, Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Vita and PC (via Steam) on February 23rd for $7.99. It will include both updated visuals and all of the add-on content Square has dropped for the mobile title thus far, along with cross-buy/save on PS4 and Vita.
The timing is interesting here, as Square is prepping to launch the next main console game in the long-running Hitman series in just under a month now. The episodic-style console title is set to feature rich larger and more interactive environments, along with some very interesting multiplayer elements. Amazon Prime members can currently pre-order the title for $47.99 shipped, which include some Amazon exclusive bonuses: Requiem Legacy Suit, Blood Money Shirt, Tie, Gloves, and Silenced ICA-19 Chrome White Rubber Duck Explosive.
