For a limited time, both the entry level 256GB and high-end 512GB models are being discounted by $300, dropping prices down to $999.99 and $1,299.99. Anyone with access to a .edu email address can sign-up for Best Buy's Student Deals and save an additional $50 on all MacBook sale prices. That makes the 256GB MacBook just $949.99 with free shipping. Apple currently charges $1,099 and $1,319 for these MacBooks in refurbished condition. The baseline MacBook features a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor with Turbo Boost up to 2.4GHz, 8GB of memory, a 256GB PCIe-based flash drive, USB Type-C and Force Touch Trackpad.
